Dashboard home, wallets, and Settle

The dashboard home shows the business you are managing, the wallets you are allowed to see, and a short list of transactions.

Who can use this. You need the dashboard permission, or super admin. Wallet figures require wallet history access. Settle requires wallets.settle and manual closure to be allowed.

Before you start. Confirm the header business before you read a balance.

Steps

  1. Open Dashboard.
  2. Read Managing and the business name.
  3. Open My Wallets, or double-click a wallet to see its transactions.
  4. Use the transaction preview to open a recent row. The full filters are under Report, Transaction History.
  5. Use Settle only when you intend to close the open wallet.

My WalletsWallets for this business. No wallets found means there is nothing to open.
SettleCloses the wallet when it is offered.Confirms before it runs.
Transaction previewA short list, not every filter.Use Transaction History for search.

After you save or submit. Opening the home page does not take a payment and does not close a wallet unless you confirm Settle.

Example. Example only: Example Cafe opens Dashboard, sees an open wallet, and does not click Settle yet. The 42.00 APPROVAL is visible in the preview. The bank deposit is not created by opening the page.

Troubleshooting

  • The numbers look like another store. Use Switch business. The header is the business you are reading.
  • Settle failed. The error says the wallet failed to settle. The payments stay in their current status. Try again only if you still intend to close it.
